H.E. Mr. Cinar Aldemir, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, together with Mr. Danny McCafferty General Manager of Dusit Thani Bangkok recently presided over the opening ceremony of “Turkish Cultural Festival” at hotel’s The Pavilion Restaurant. The event provided a truly authentic selection of popular Turkish dishes for the buffet by Turkish guest chefs, Chef Bulent Karaaslan and his team with the special Belly Dance show attended by H.E. Mr. Eric G. John, American Ambassador and many guests from various business.

Turkish cuisine is largely the heritage of Ottoman cuisine, which can be described as a fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines. This festival is being held by Dusit Thani Bangkok and the Turkish Embassy of Thailand in celebration of Turkish National Day.
